5 Year Roadside Assistance

As part of Hyundai’s commitment to after sales excellence, we have teamed up with AA Ireland offering you Hyundai Assist Roadside Rescue with every new Hyundai purchased in Ireland since November 2010. Hyundai Assist is designed to keep you motoring and give you full of peace of mind for the duration of your 5 year warranty period. With Hyundai Assist your vehicle will be covered for most, but not all, vehicle related faults.

Hyundai customers now have access to the AA app where they can request roadside assistance at the touch of a button. Hyundai customers can log in using:

  2. Reg. number

Incidents covered in Europe

Assistance is available to you in 17 European countries through affiliate member clubs, covering the following (for more information go to www.arceurope.com).

Attendance at the roadside helping you continue your journey
Towage to the nearest Hyundai Dealer or to the nearest garage recommended by the affiliate members’ clubs (if there is no Hyundai Dealer nearby)

Transport/hotel accommodation for a 3-star or equivalent hotel, max €63 per person per day up to 3 days
With the approval of our Assistance Centre, if a repair cannot be completed during the day of the breakdown, we will cover one of the following;

The cost of public transport, (max €190 per person or €633 per part, whichever is less) including train tickets or economy flight tickets for onward travel to the customer’s original destination (if travel time would exceed 8 hours)

Homeward travel costs will be reimbursed up to a maximum of €190 per person or €633 per party (whichever is less)

Accommodation costs for a 3 star or equivalent hotel to a maximum of €63 per person per day for a maximum of 3 days (if repairs take more than 8 hours)

Replacement Car

If repairs cannot be completed within 8 hours, the Assistance Centre will approve and arrange a replacement car, of equivalent category, during the repair, up to a maximum limit of €375 per party. Provision is subject to availability and to appropriate insurance and licence arrangements.

Vehicle Repatriation

In the unlikely event of a breakdown, the AA will arrange and pay repatriation costs if the vehicle cannot be repaired abroad (subject to the approval of the local Assistance Centre) where benefits such as a replacement car and hotel accommodation were not offered.

Vehicle Collection

Where the customer is unable to wait for the completion of repairs and has returned home, the AA will pay transport costs for the customer to collect their vehicle (for up to one person and up to a max fee of €190). This covers economy class flight only and is not available when Vehicle Repatriation is chosen.
