Warranty Start Date

The warranty commences when this new vehicle is registered and delivered to you (the original purchaser) as set forth on the Memorandum of Registration.

 

Warranty Period

All Hyundai passenger vehicles purchased from an authorised Hyundai dealer in the Republic of Ireland come with

·        5 Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty*

·        5 Year Roadside Assistance

·        5 Year Vehicle Health Check

Warranty is currently unavailable for PSV and Taxis. The warranty period for all commercial vehicles is 5 years or 160,000kms, whichever comes first. Hyundai provides and 8 year or 160,000kms battery warranty (whichever comes first) on Hyundai Lithium-Ion-Polymer battery. For the 5 Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty and Battery Warranty certain terms and conditions apply.

Battery and Air Conditioning Refridgerant Two years from the date of delivery of the first retail purchaser. *(Not applicable to PSV, Taxi's and Commercial / Rental Vehicles)

Definition of Warranty

For new vehicles supplied by Hyundai Cars Ireland, through an authorised Hyundai dealer, Hyundai Motor Company warrants the vehicle, from the date of first registration, against defects arising in manufacture, subject to the conditions outlined on the Limited Coverage page, for a period of five years' unlimited mileage on passenger cars or 160,000 km for Light Commercial vehicles.

Obtaining Warranty Service
Warranty service will only be provided by authorised Hyundai Dealers without charge for parts or labour.

 

*Please note that only cars sourced through Hyundai Cars Ireland Ltd. and purchased through a Hyundai Authorised Dealer qualify for the 5 year triple care package
