As living more sustainably becomes a top priority for more and more people, Hyundai has already been delivering smart and sustainable mobility solutions with our all-electric IONIQ brand for many years now. We complement connected and eco-conscious lifestyles with our growing line-up of innovative electric vehicles that feature eco-friendly materials and colours.

  1. Sustainable materials.

    Inspired by nature and driven by our commitment to sustainability, IONIQ makes extensive use of eco-friendly materials like: recycled PET bottles and fishing nets, eco-processed leather and bio paint with plant-based extracts.

  2. Ultra-fast charging.

    Spend less time plugged in. The innovative multi-charging 800V battery system delivers some of the fastest charging times possible today – adding 336 km of range in just 15 minutes in the IONIQ 5 and even 351 km in the IONIQ 6.

  3. Parametric Pixel design.

    Discover the beauty of the pixel - Parametric Pixels – a signature design element that all IONIQ vehicles share. They are the crown jewels of IONIQ 5’s distinctive LED headlamps with their 256 cubic pixels.

    A quick look at the IONIQ family of electric vehicles.

    We introduced the term IONIQ, which fuses “ion” and “unique”, when we created Project IONIQ, a R&D project for eco-friendly mobility. From there, we introduced the first IONIQ vehicle in 2016 – the world’s first model to offer 3 electrified powertrain options: hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery electric. Now, dedicated solely to our next generation of electric vehicles, IONIQ represents our commitment to sustainability and is key to achieving our clean mobility goals.
